In Afghanistan, 40 people were killed and several others injured in a suicide bomb blast in Kunduz province today. Officials said the attacker struck as people lined up to collect identity cards in a district of Kunduz province. The attack comes one day after at least 18 people were killed in an attack on a bank in the Afghan city of Jalalabad.
