Suggestion to increase age limit of nursery admission

Principals and parents of Delhi schools have welcomed the suggestion of Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Mr. Kapil Sibal of increasing minimum age limit for nursery admissions from 3 years to 4 years. Earlier, there was a consensus on this issue during a meeting with school Principals.<br/>A day after the Union Minister of Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal's suggestion that Pre – schools should admit children at the age of four, many Principals of Delhi and All India Parent's Association have whole heartedly supported his views. Mrs. Usha Ram, Principal, Laxman Public School said that she is in the favour of this suggestion and implementation of this will be good for both parents and children.<br/><br/>All India Parents Association (AIPA) have also welcomed the minister's decision. Mr. Ashok Agarwal, President of AIPA also endorsed his view and said that this should be implemented through out the country.<br/><br/>However, this suggestion is still to be sent to the Delhi Government and Central Advisory Board of Education for a getting a go ahead on this.
