Sugar price down by Rs 8 per kg in Delhi

The sugar has become cheaper by 8 rupees per kg in the retail market in Delhi. According to official release, the decline in ex-mill and retail sugar prices that started at the beginning of the last month has continued further. <br/><br/>Government said it has taken number of steps to control the price of sugar. The release says in the beginning of this year sugar prices soared high to 47 rupees per kg . <br/><br/>After the government has taken several measures to contain the price rise, it has come down to 39 rupees per kg now. Our correspondent reports an order has also been issued to impose stockholding limit on large consumers of the commodity.<br/>
