India will take on China in the quarter-final of the Sudirman Cup mixed team badminton championship in Gold Coast, Australia tomorrow. India completed their league stage yesterday, finishing second, but qualified for the quarter final, riding on their match score, that is the number of matches won and lost in the league. China is ten time champion of this tournament. India on the other hand managed to reach the knockout stage of the championship only the second time following their quarterfinal clash at the 2011 edition when they lost to China 1-3.
