The Sudanese Army on Wednesday denied accusations by some international organizations in Khartoum of launching air strikes against rebel positions in South Kordofan State.A spokesman of Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF said, the claims by some foreign organizations on bombing south Kordofan State are untrue He said the security situation is calm and the SAF is firmly committed to the unilateral ceasefire recently declared by the President of the Republic in South Kordofan.Some international organizations on Tuesday accused the Sudanese army of launching indiscriminating bombing in South Kordofan State. South Kordofan State, which is on the north-south Sudan border, has been witnessing, since June 5th, armed clashes between the Sudanese army and local rebels who used to belong to the Sudan People's Liberation Army.
