The Sudanese President Umar Al Bashir has said his country is ready for normalisation of relations with neighbouring Chad raising hopes to the end of conflict in Darfur. Speaking after talks with the Chadian President Idris Dibi in Khartoum, Mr Bashir said the visit had put an end to the problems between their countries.In recent years they have accused each other of sponsoring each other's rebel movements with Sudan alleging that Chad backed Darfur rebel groups.
