Thousands of Sudanese are fleeing from attacks by Government forces on rebels in two States Just north of the new border with South Sudan. The United Nations Refugees Agency says, the sixteen thousand people have crossed through Blue Nile State into Ethiopia. At the same time, three thousand have fled from their homes in another State. Analysts say that Khartoum is attempting to neutralise rebels in both States before they become a secessionist threat
