The Sudanese government today announced the release of three Russian pilots who were kidnapped in the country’s restive western region of Darfur on Sunday. Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesman Muawiya Osman Khalid said the pilots are in good health and they will be transported to Khartoum sometime today.
