The number of subscribers in various schemes under the National Pension System rose to over five crore twenty lakh by the end of March this year. The number of subscribers in March last year was around four crore 24 lakh. The Ministry said, the total pension assets under the management of Atal Pension Yojana stood at over seven lakh thirty six thousand crore rupees as on 31st March this year showing growth of over 27 per cent.<br />
