Submit documents related to search at CM Virbhadra's residence, HC to ED

The Delhi high court has asked the Enforcement Directorate to submit to the court all the documents related to a search conducted at the residence of Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh in connection with a money laundering case. The court observed that Enforcement Directorate was behaving like a super investigator in the case. <br/><br/>The court was yesterday hearing a plea brought by Mr Singh seeking directions to the Enforcement Directorate to provide him with the reasons on the basis of which a search and seizure of documents was carried out. Mr Singh, in his petition, further contended that the reasons for the search were illegal, arbitrary and liable to be quashed. The court has listed the matter for further hearing on May 31.
