In Andhra Pradesh, a local college student has set himself ablaze at Osmania University on Saturday afternoon. <br/><br/>He has been rushed to a nearby hospital with burn injuries. <br/><br/>The attempt has been made for self immolation after the police prevented students to take out a rally to the state Assembly in response to the call given by the student Joint Action Committee for Assembly Siege as part of the agitation on Statehood issue. <br/><br/>The student later has been identified as Yadaiah. As the news of self immolation attempt spreads, students who gathered again at the University gate, have resorted to stone pelting on police injuring a DIG.
