Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said, structural reforms including the Goods and Services Tax, GST, rationalising direct taxes and ease of doing business are among top priorities for the New Year. Talking to a news agency, Mr Jaitley said, the government has responded well to challenges posed by global slowdown. He expressed the hope that country's growth rate will improve further in the months to come. The Minister said, 2015 was a year of global turmoil and volatility but country's economy emerged as the bright spot with 7 to 7.5 percent growth prospects.
