Finance Minister P Chidambaram today strongly disapproved of CBI action on DMK leader Stalin. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he said whatever be the reason, the CBI raids are bound to be misunderstood. The Finance Minister said that he has conveyed his view to the Minister incharge.
A four member team of the CBI had today begun raids at the DMK treasurer M.K.Stalin's house in Chennai.Mr.Stalin said that this was an act of political vendetta since his party had withdrawn support to the UPA.M.K. Stalin is the son of DMK Chief M.Karunanidhi and a former Deputy Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.He is also a sitting member of the State Assembly and the leader of the DMK Legislative Party.
