Strong tremors were felt across Sikkim late this evening. Director of India Meteorological Department, Gangtok Dr Gopi Nath Raha informed that the magnitude of the earthquake is 5.4 and the epicentre was in the Sikkim (India) – Nepal Border region. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The earthquake was recorded at 20:49:58 IST and the latitude was 27.23 N and longitude was 88.84 E at a depth of 10 Km.</span><br />
