A strong earthquake measuring 7 on Richter scale has hit Haiti. Reports say that the epicenter is close to the capital Port-au- Prince. A Tsunami warning has been issued for Haiti , Cuba, the Bahamas and the Dominique Republic. Haitian television streaming online has reported that Presidential palace and numerous other government buildings in the country's capital Port-au-Prince collapsed.Communications to the island, the most impoverished inthe western hemisphere, have been cut in the wake of the massive earthquake.
