The Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Praful Patel assured the Rajya Sabha that a stringent action will be taken against those who are found guilty of serving bad quality food in the national career. Replying questions in the House today, the Minister said that the airlines have received 41 complaints and these are being investigated by the respective departments for remedial action. He however asserted that food provide by Air India on board is from the reputed flight kitchens and is comparable with every other airline in the industry. He strongly refuted the allegations of serving substandard food to the passengers.
