<br/> In Uttar Pradesh, state government offices including hospitals are badly affected due to the indefinite strike by class three and class four employees of the state government. Starting today, as many as six lakh state employees have gone on strike to protest against Thursday's police action at Lucknow and also demanding implementation of the 6th Pay Commission recommendations.<br/><br/> Our Lucknow correspondent reports, the state government has declared this strike illegal and nearly two dozen union leaders have been arrested on the several charges including for damaging public property and provoking employees. Large numbers of security forces are deployed at most of the multi storied buildings including many offices of the State government departments.
