Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that the strength of India lies in its unity. In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, he said, Run For Unity to be observed on 31st October will be one of the biggest events. He added, it will create a record as millions of people will participate in it.<br/><br/>The Minister said, Run for Unity will be observed throughout the country because Sardar Patel belonged to the entire nation. The minister said that the youth is the primary focus of the event. Talking about the contributions of Sardar Patel, he said, India, the largest democracy of the world is a result of the hard work put in by Sardar Patel .<br/><br/>Talking about the government's decision for sustained dialogue in Kashmir, the minister said, government will provide assistance to the people of valley who desire peace. He added that those who create trouble will be dealt WITH firmly.<br/><br/>Mr. Rijiju said that the overall situation in the North East has considerably improved in the last three and a half years.
