<span style="color: #222222;">The Government today said the strategic disinvestment transaction of Air India has been successfully completed on the 27th of last month and the airlines are now under the management control of the strategic buyer. In a written reply in Lok Sabha, the Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad said 100 percent shares of Air India including all the shares of its subsidiary, Air India Express Limited, and 50 percent shares of its Joint Venture AISATS have been disinvested. He said, with the disinvestment of Air India last month, the government has no equity stake in the airline.</span>
