The budget session of Uttarakhand assembly began on Monday with a stormy note as main opposition Bharteeya Janta Party members created uproar over alleged ''poaching of its MLAs'' by ruling Congress, which forced repeated interruptions and early adjournments of the house for the day. According to AIR correspondent as soon as the session begun , the BJP MLAs, led by opposition leader Ajay Bhatt, were up on their feet, demanding a discussion and high level probe into the resignation of BJP legislator from Sitarganj Kiran Mandal.The Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal tried to pacify the opposition members but in vain. As the BJP members came into the well, raising slogans against the government, the Speaker first adjourned the House till 1130 hrs.The same situation prevailed when the house re-assembled and the Speaker again adjourned the House till 1150 and then 1220 hrs. The question hour did not take place. Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Indira |Hridyesh tried to convince the opposition to let the House function but the BJP remained adamant upon its demand.The Speaker finally adjourned the house for the day at 1230 hrs.
