Key domestic stocks today ended with gains of around one per cent. The BSE closed near the 59,700 level while the NSE Nifty settled above 17,550 points. Both benchmark indices gained amid mixed global cues.
 
The Sensex rose 583 points, or 0.99 per cent, to finish at 59,689 while the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 159 points, or 0.91 per cent to settle at 17,557.
