The Science Technology and Innovation Policy, STIP -2020 is being formulated in the country in a unique way of making it more inclusive. For the first time, the Department of Science and Technology, DST along with the Office of Principal Scientific Advisor, PSA, have initiated a methodology which focuses on decentralization of policy design by making it a bottom-up and inclusive process.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' National Council for Science and Technology Communication, NCSTC, has devised a way to capture the inputs of people for science and technology through involvement of Community Radio Stations. Out of 291 Community Radio Stations across the country, 25 have been identified to provide inputs based on regional diversity, gender, and outreach capability. Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Professor Ashutosh Sharma said, the policy on science, technology, and innovation would greatly gain by the insights from the grass-roots in identification of the relevant problems and the processes required for effectively addressing them.</span><br />
