Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Harsh Kumar Jain said all steps related to induction of India as full member in the SCO were completed.<br/><br/>Mr Modi is visiting Kazakhstan for the second time. Bilateral ties between both the countries entered a higher scale with the Prime Minister's first visit in 2015.<br/><br/>The bilateral trade between India and Kazakhstan rose to 618 million US dollars in 2016 which is an increase of 34 per cent over the previous year. Several Indian and Kazak companies are exploring opportunities for joint ventures in several fields including defence manufacturing. <br/><br/>In the last two years, Indian companies have made investments worth 40 million US dollars and Kazakh companies invested 18 million US dollars.
