Under the 'One District- One Product' initiative, District Administration, Anantnag is promoting trout fish farming. Talking to AIR News, Deputy Director of Fisheries, South Kashmir Mohammad Sidiq Choh said, the Department of Fisheries has established more than 200 trout fish farms in the district so far. He said, the Department is supporting local youth and women to set up trout fish farms under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.<br />''<br />''The District Administration, Pulwama is also focused on promoting local products, such as pencils, saffron, handlooms, almonds and willow bats, following the Prime Minister's clarion call of Vocal for Local.
