Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has asked the Central Industrial Security Force to be in the forefront in thwarting the attempts of terror and Maoist groups on the human life and property. He was addressing Assistant Commandants at a ceremonial passing out parade held at the National Industrial Security Academy-NISA in Hyderabad today. Shinde asked the academy to continue to strive to impart quality training to enable the force to be ready to face any eventuality in dealing with internal security problems.
He said the areas, where development is lagging are facing internal security challenges. He asked CISF to step in for providing security and bring about a positive change to ensure economic growth there. 453 trainee Assistant Commandants and Sub Inspectors including 15 women.
