IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla today asked BCCI President N. Srinivasan to step down untill probe against his son-in-law in the spot fixing case is over. Mr Shukla who met BCCI Vice President Arun Jaitley in New Delhi, he said they both are of the opinion that Srinivasan should keep himself away while the probe is on.
Mr Shukla said he discused the situation arising out of the IPL spot fixing case with Jaitley.
Earlier, Power Minister and BCCI member Jyotiraditya Scindia had also said that his personal opinion was that Srinivasan should step down form the post of BCCI president as a proble is on into spot fixing.
Meanwhile reports from Mumbai say N. Srinivasan has declined to step down.
