The ruling NDA managed to win Five seats, with JDU-3 and BJP-2. While Lalu's RJD won Five seats, LJP of Paswan got three. Our correspondent reports that Congress bagged two seats, BSP one and one went to an Independent, while the result of Munger seat is yet to be announced. br/RJD-LJP alliance has emerged as a new political force following the result of by-polls. Out of declared 17 seats RJD has won 5. The party has gain one seat. On the other hand three candidates of LJP were declared elected and party has added two more seats to its former strength. While Janta Dal United has suffered a loss of 7 seats , the BJP has lost two. Before this by-election, NDA had 13 seats. Congress had gained two seats and BSP one. Independent candidate Shanti Sharma has been declared elected from Ghousi assembly constituency. Although the verdict of by-poll result is against the ruling NDA, but it will not affect the stability of Nitish Kumar Government in Bihar.br/Meanwhile, BJP and Rashtriya Janata Dal have bagged one seat each in Delhi Assembly by-poll results.
