<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of Steel Dharmendra Pradhan today said that steel sector is witnessing revival and the government's priority is to enhance &nbsp;capacity building in the sector and manufacturing of special category steel. The Minister told this to reporters after addressing a workshop on 'India Steel – Fostering steel usage in Railways and Defence' in New Delhi today. He said, the country, being the second largest steel manufacturer in the world, is importing a lot of special category steel from various countries. Mr. Pradhan said that import of special category steel needs to be reduced.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, Railway Board Chairman V K Yadav said, &nbsp;the steel consumption in 2019 was to the tune of seven million tonne which was 17 per cent higher than total consumption in 2018.
