Steel sector in the country is growing at rapid scale with a continuous rise in the production for last five years. During the period between April and November 2010, the crude steel production has risen by six percent. It is expected that the steel production capacity in the country would be around 120 million tonnes, from the current level of 72.76 million tonnes.
