The Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers today showcased the development activities of their states to attract overseas investment. Highlighting the eleven per cent GSDP growth rate of the state, the Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Modi said that state has maintained an steady growth rate of 9 per cent in agriculture for a decade which is unprecedented any where in the world. He said, their is enormous opportunities in the field of agriculture and infrastructure for the diaspora to invest in.Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, his State is amongst the top states in terms of per capita income with a GSDP of 8 per cent. He said, he wants to promote Haryana as a corporate capital, an industrial destination and a residential and entertainment centre.The Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi invited the overseas Indian to visit and witness the economic growth of the state. He described Bihar as Cultural tourism hub. The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhvir Singh Badal assured the NRIs from the State that their property is safe in their absence. He said, the state government has passed a law to safeguard the properties of NRIs.The Goa Chief Minister, Mr. Digambar Kamat highlighted Goa's tourism potential.
