State Transport to start in Maharashtra from tomorrow

As Maharashtra slowly begins to unlock, transport services are geared up to serve the employees and citizens. The monsoon schedule is being implemented on the Konkan Railway route from June 10. As a precautionary measure, 974 personnel have been deployed for 24-hour patrolling on the entire route.<br />'' <br />''State Transport is also going to start service of its district level buses from tomorrow. Similarly, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport – BEST undertaking will also resume bus services for all the passengers across Mumbai. It has urged the commuters to cooperate in order to ensure glitch free travel.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that Maharashtra State transport buses will start running additional 250 buses from tomorrow between neighbouring Thane district and Navi Mumbai to ferry commuters from the region to Mumbai. Only one person will be allowed to sit on each seat along with six standees.
