Maharashtra government has said that state transport (ST) buses would be exempted from paying toll following the issuance of new tenders.Hence forward whenever new tenders would be issued ST would be exempted from paying toll.Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said this in the Legislative Council on Monday.He said that the government would mention the clause in the new tender process to exempt ST buses. He added that the state government will also talk to existing toll plazas to exempt state transport buses from paying toll.
