Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that the state police is emerging as one of the best forces in the country adding that measures have been initiated to further modernize and train it as per the present day law and order scenario and militancy threats. While addressing the Attestation-cum-Passing Out Parade of Policewomen at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy at Udhampur, the Chief Minister said, the J&K police has to face challenges of law and order and militancy simultaneously.
