State govt would continue to strive for amicable political solution in J&K: Omar

Maintaining that the State government would continue to strive for an amicable political solution in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah has said that efforts are on to break the ice on this count. He said, in order to remove the political tension once for all, it is necessary to settle issues through sustained dialogue channels. Addressing public gatherings in Jammu and Rajouri districts after inaugurating transmission lines and power stations today, the Chief Minister also highlighted the need for better relations between India and Pakistan.
