Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the state government is working towards plugging shortages in basic sports facilities and modernise them. He said if any sports person of UP bags any medal at the international level, the state government will award the person. Mr Yogi said this after inaugurating the regional sports meet of Vidya Bharti at the 35th PAC Battalion ground in Lucknow on Sunday. Chief Minister said the state government is working to remove the shortage of basic facilities and provide modern ones. He said sports helps in strengthening brotherhood and harmony.
