An emergency meeting of the state core committee of Nationalist Congress Party's Goa unit was held on Sunday in Panaji under the chairmanship of the state acting President Dr. Carmo Pegado to discuss and deliberate the present political situation in the state.<br/><br/>The meeting strongly condemned the recent outburst of congress leaders against the Nationalist Congress Party and its leadership. The core committee also deplored the inaction of the Chief Minister and GPCCI President against the outburst of congress leaders.<br/><br/>The core committee also resolved to support the demands of G-7,seeking apology from Congress leaders Churchill Alemao and Mauvin Gudinho for their utterances.<br/><br/>The meeting also authorised 3 MLA's to extend or withdraw support to the Digambar Kamat govt. in the wake of current political crisis in the state.<br/>
