Andhra Pradesh government has presented the annual budget for the year 2012-13 at an estimated expenditure of one lakh 45 thousand 854 crore rupees in the assembly today. This includes 54,030 crore rupees planned and 91 thousand 824 crore rupees non- plan expenditure. Presenting his second consecutive annual budget, Finance Minister Ram Narayan Reddy has projected the revenue surplus of 4,444 crore rupees while the fiscal deficit estimated a little over 20,000 crore rupees. Finance Minister continue to accord priority to sectors such as Agriculture, irrigation, Education, Health and Welfare while considerably sanctioned allocations to newly launched schemes include One rupee kilo Rice scheme and Rajive Yuvakiranaalu.In an unprecedented way, the Information and Technology Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah has continued the presentation of the annual budget as the Fiance Minister collapsed while presenting his budget in the house. The budget has also been simultaneously presented in Legislative Council.Earlier, 11 Telangana Rastra Samithi Members and one independent member have been suspended for the day from the assembly. The members were obstructing the proceedings of the house demanding a resolution on Statehood for Telangana for the fourth consecutive day today. Protesting against not moving resolution on statehood for Telangana, the CPI and BJP members have walked out from the Assembly.
