The Government has invited young Start-Ups from all over the country to come to Northeast and try their fortune through untapped potentials of the region. Addressing at the Skill India exhibition in New Delhi yesterday, Minister of Development of North Eastern Region, Dr Jitendra Singh referred to the decision taken by his Ministry to provide Venture Fund to any youngster who wishes to set up an entrepreneurship in the region. <br/><br/>He said, it will be in addition to the provisions already available in Start-up India and Stand-up India programme, which includes provision of tax holiday as well as three month exit period. Dr Singh informed that over 65 proposals from youngsters are under process to avail the Venture Fund, an official statement said. <br/>The Minister also said that the first lot of Venture Fund documents were handed over to the new Start-Ups by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself during his visit to Aizawl, Mizoram in December last year
