Government today said that startups have provided over 12 lakh jobs in various sectors. These jobs have been created by one lakh fourteen thousand startups in the country. In a statement, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said over three thousand 600 compliances decriminalized and more than 41 thousand compliances reduced to promote Ease of Doing Business. The Ministry informed that unified logistics interface platform successfully integrated with 35 systems of eight ministries covering. It added, India has retained 40th rank in Global Innovation Index in 2023 from 81st in 2015. 

Talking about Make in India 2.0, The Ministry said that this initiative is focusing on 27 sectors to make India a Manufacturing Hub.
