Government has said startup India innovators should focus on agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and other sectors. Addressing a function on 2nd Startup India States Conference in New Delhi, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry. C R Chaudhury said the government had recently modified the definition of Startup India and given many concessions. <br/><br/>A corpus of ten thousand crore rupees is provided for startups, which is managed by SIDBI. He said many schemes are being implemented for the youth of country so that they can become job creator. <br/>AIR correspondent reports that the representatives of 20 States and Union Territories are participating in a day long conference. <br/><br/>Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Narendra Modi Government, intended to build a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Startups in the country that will drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities.
