CGI Dubai and Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi in partnership with iSPIRIT, a nonprofit think tank and supported by TiE, Dubai will host a two day "Start up India Summit" in UAE on 23rd and 24th of May 2017. <br/><br/>This is the first such "Start Up Summit" being held in the UAE. The aim is to provide a shared platform for the Start up eco system in both India and UAE for greater collaboration, exchange ideas, interact with academia, investors and industry and have access to funding from the venture capitalist in the UAE. <br/><br/>It will also help such 'Start Ups 'to get the required handholding and mentoring to grow and prosper. Elaborating on the type of startup companies who are participating in the event , Consul General of Dubai , Mr Vipul said 17 Start up Companies from India in the space of Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology or Fintech , Digi Medicine , Health care Technology , Innovative Technology and Software as Service will take part in the two day event .<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Indian Ambassador to UAE Mr Navdeep Suri highlighted that "Start Up India" is the flagship programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is the endeavour of the Government to promote the Indian entrepreneurs. <br/><br/>The event will also help to change the perception that India is just the back office of multi nationals but that Indian entrepreneurs are bubbling with innovative ideas and have transformational capabilities.<br/><br/>T.V. Mohandas Pai , Chairman of Manipal Global Education has helped identify these 17 Start Up groups in India . In UAE , B. R . Shetty of the NMC group and Indian Business Promotion Group (IBPG) and Indian Business Promotion Council (IBPC) are supporting the event.<br/><br/>India is the third largest eco system in the world leading in tech innovation globally while UAE aims to be the world hub for technology in future.
