Star Indian shooters will be seen in action in Glasgow Commonwealth Games today

In the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, star Indian shooters like Rahi Sarnobat, Om Prakash, PN Prakash and Ayonika Paul will be seen in action today. After Olympian Abhinav Bindra who bid farewell to the Commonwealth Games with a Gold Friday and Malaika Goel bagging her maiden Commonwealth medal, Indian shooters will give their best shot today and hope to add to India's overall medals tally of 10.Boxing will today witness top Indian puglists like Olympian Vijender Singh, CWG Gold medalist in 2010 Manoj Kumar and Devendro Singh in the Round-of-32 of their respective categories. Shiva Thapa, Mandeep Jangra, Sumit Sangwan and Dinesh Kumar advanced to the pre-quarterfinals Friday.In Weightlifting, Meena Kumari and Punam Yadav will figure in the Women's 63kg division, while Omkar Otari will feature in the Men's 69kg category. Out of 10, India has bagged 5 medals in Weightlifting. Sanjita K. and Sukhen Dey bagged the Gold, Chanu Saikhom won the Silver and Ganesh Mali and Santoshi Matsa clinched the Bronze.India's Squash players, Dipika Pallikal, Saurav Ghosal and Anaka Alankamony will play their Singles quarterfinal matches, with Indian Men's and Women's Table Tennis teams also playing for semi-final berths.In Badminton, the Mixed team quarterfinals will take place today.Judo, which got us 2 Silver and a Bronze, will see Jina Devi Chongtham in the Women's -78 kgs, and Rajwinder Kaur in the Women's +78 kgs quarterfinals. 3 other Indian Judokas will also figure in their respective pre-quarterfinals.The Indian Men's Hockey team will take on Scotland in their second preliminary round match today. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the match from 8.25 PM onwards. It can be heard on the FM Gold Network, Rajdhani and the National Channel.Swimming and Lawn Bowls will also see the Indian participation.
