In China, nearly 100 children were injured today following a stampede in a primary school in Aksu City of northwest Xinjiang Uygur region. Reports say that the children were heading downstairs to the playground when some of them fell leading to the stampede. The injured students have been admitted to a local hospital. No casualties have been reported so far.
