Stamp duty for 31 notified SEZs will be refunded, says Haryana CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that stamp duty for 31 notified Special Economic Zones (SEZs) amounted to 70 crore rupees will be refunded. <br/><br/>He said that Haryana Special Economic Zone (Amendment) Bill, 2010 has been passed in the Vidhan Sabha today to make an enabling provision to permit refund of the stamp duty<br/>already paid once a SEZ is notified and not to benefit a particular family as being alleged by the opposition. <br/><br/>The Chief Minister, who was replying to the questions of media persons in the press lobby of the Vidhan Sabha at chandigarh, said that the setting up of these SEZs would generate ample employment opportunities and benefit the State. <br/><br/>He said that the Central Government has also amended its Act and the amendment would benefit large number of people.
