Stalemate continues over J&K govt formation

In Jammu and Kashmir, there is an apparent stalemate on the formation of new govt formation as of now. The PDP says it will first review the implementation of the alliance components before deciding on its continuation. The party asserted that there is lacunae in the implementation of agreed framework in the Agenda of Alliance during 10 month PDP BJP coalition government under leadership of Late Mufti Sayeed.

The public talking over non implementation of various feasible components in the Agenda of Alliance by Party's senior leader Nayeem Akhtar has halted the immediate chance of immediate govt formation as of now. BJP awaits formal stance of PDP on the govt formation. Meanwhile, the party is likely to hold its first meeting today to deliberate on the political state of affairs. The meeting has been fixed after Friday congregational prayers are held at final resting place in south Kashmir's Bijbehara.
