With hung assembly and no party willing to come forward to stake claim for formation of new government in Delhi, political uncertainty continued for the 2nd day. Meanwhile, the BJP today unanimously elected Dr Harsh Vardhan as leader of its legislature party. Talking to reporters after his election, Dr Harsh Vardhan said his party is committed to serving the people of the national capital, but cannot form government as it is short of majority. Aam Aadmi Party has also elected Arvind Kejriwal as its legislature party leader. Kejriwal has been repeatedly maintaining that his party would prefer siting in the Opposition to giving or taking support from any party to form the government. He asked honest politicians of other parties to join Aam Aadmi Party to cleanse the political system.

In this backdrop, political uncertainty continues to prevail with possibility of President's Rule and re-election looming large.
