Stage set for 4th phase polling in jharkhand

All arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of poll for the fourth round of the five-phase jharkhand assembly elections tomorrow. Polling will take place from 7 AM to 3 PM. Over 24 and a half lakh voters will decide the electoral fortune of 233 candidates in fray from 14 seats. Maoists, who have given an election boycott call have huge presence in all the constituencies. Our correspondent reports that around 40,000 jawans and officers have been deployed for free, fair and peaceful polling. Air surveillance in the poll-bound areas is on and there is adequate reserve strike force to face any eventuality.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Security forces today launched an operation and destroyed a naxal training camp at Tamar police station in Ranchi district. State Police spokesman V.H. Deshmukh told AIR that security forces have recovered huge quantities of arms and ammunition from the camp.<br/>
