In Gujarat, stage is set for the second and last phase of Assembly elections in 95 constituencies which go to the polls tomorrow.

Polling parties are rushing to their destinations while security forces have already reached poll bound areas. 23 thousand 318 polling stations have been set up for above 2 crore electorates.

Eight hundred and twenty candidates including 49 women are in the fray. Our correspondent reports that Political fate of several stalwarts will be decided in this phase.

Meanwhile, re-polling is in progress at three booths of Jam Jodhpur, Bhavnagar Rural and Surat North constituencies. Polling in these booths were held in the first phase on 13th December. The counting of votes will be taken up on December 20.
