The BCCI Chairman Srinivasan who is also the Managing Director of India Cements, has appeared before the CBI in Hyderabad on Monday in connection with the disproportionate assets case against Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Y S Jaganmhan Reddy.
According to official information, a team of CBI officials, has questioned Srinivasan about the alleged investments in Jaganmohan Reddy’s business during the tenure of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The CBI is probing the matter, especially, the alleged violations in water and limestone allocations to the cement companies. The CBI reportedly has asked some other cement companies to appear before it. Jaganmohan Reddy is presently in Chanchalguda Central Jail on Judicial Remand till the 25th of this month.
