After reeling under dry spell for over two months snow and rain fall brought respite to the people of the Kashmir valley for the last two days. The valley including the capital city Srinagar witnessed season's first snowfall which took place in higher reaches while it has been raining in the plains since Wednesday evening. Weather department predicts more snow at many places including plains within next 24 hours.
